Organization: 4 red cones in a line evenly spaced 6-8 yards apart to simulate a defensive line, 4 blue cones to signal the beginning & end of the pattern, and even lines at each of the 4 blue cones. (same as previous activity.
Instructions: Same as last pattern, only now we are using a through ball to a second player in the pattern.
Coaching Points: 1- first touch relitive to the passing lane (how can we make the passing lane bigger?). 2 - Heal down/toe up inside the foot passing technique (you can only measure weight of pass after consistancy of technique is achieved), 3 - Weight of pass (miss long and give it out of bounds, dont miss short and give it to a defender).

Organization: 50 x 40 grid, 3 teams (As equal as possible)
Instructions: This is a big game of numbers up possession with neutral players on the outside which will keep the game going. For every 5 consecutive passes, a point is awarded.
Coaching Points: Identification of penetrating passing lanes, proper weight & direction of through ball, finding support after penetration

Organization: Playing 7 v 6 (or 8 v 6 if at all possible) on a half of field
Instructions: Blue must keep possession until they find an opening to penetrate the defense. Blue will try and score on the big goal on one end, and gray will try to score in one of the 3 pugs at the opposite end of the field.
Coaching Points: Switch the play as needed until an opening in the defense appears, Identify openings before receiving the ball & exploit identified opening with first touch, supporting runs after penetration to ensure multiple finishing opportunities are created with the penetrating pass.
