Organization:
- Field split in half (depending how many players we have)
- Red and blue gates on each side
- Attacking (Red) players with ball each.
- Defenders (Yellow) without ball.
Instructions:
- Attacking players look to gain points by dribbling through the blue or red gate in the opposite side.1 point if they are able to make it
- Defenders positioned in the opposite side of the area. Their job is to prevent attackers from dribbling through a red or a blue gate, if possible, steal the ball and dribble to a red or blue gate in the opposite side . 1 point if they do it
- Rotate roles every 3 min.
Coaching Points/Questions:
- Awareness of surroundings - space, gates, defender.
- Before you start dribbling, you must have a plan in your mind
- Decision making - "What is the best gate to attack? Will it always be the closest one?".
- Type of touch as you go closer to the defender:
Soft Touch Like Messi
Hard Touch Like Ronaldo

Progressions:

Organization:
- 4v4 scrimmage
- 3 gates on each end line.
Instructions:
- Attacking team scores by dribbling ball through any of opponents three gate goals.
- Dribble or pass in on restarts.
Coaching Points/Questions:
-Encourage the players in possession to take risks when dribbling. "When you see the space, penetrate".
-"How can you help create space for your team mate on the ball?"
-Praise positive play.
Regressions/Progressions:
- R: Widen the gates
- P: Remove one gate from each side

- 4v4 scrimmage (Or 2 fields of 2v2 to increase individual repetition)
Instructions:
FIFA rules. 7v7 model rules. Build out line. Goal kicks and throw ins.

Introduction (10 mins)
Organization:
- Players organized themselves in a line with a good amount of space between them
- Ball each
Instructions:
- Players dribble to the red line using their pinky toe to dribble (outside of their foot) . When they get to the red line, players must do a soft touch with the outside of their foot to make the turn, using their hips to turn their body to go back
- As soon as the players start getting comfortable with this technique, coach will turn it to a competition, where the first player to make the turn and arrive to the start line earns a point
Regressions/Progressions:
R - Increase the size of the space between the players
P - Challenge players to only use their outside of their foot.
