2v1 to 2 Goals (Split)
Defender serves the ball to the attackers to start. Attackers may score on either goal, but they must stay in their half of the field. The defender may go anywhere. If the defender wins possession, they may dribble over the attackers' line to score.
If attackers are successful, remove the center line, so attackers can go anywhere. If the players are successful while properly spacing, add a defender to make it 2v2.

Attacking vs Defending
Two teams of players, with the attackers outnumbering the defenders. Attackers attempt to score on the goal. If defenders win the ball, they can dribble over the halfway line to switch out with attacking players (rotate defenders).

5v5/6v6 Scrimmage
Split your training group into two evenly balanced teams and play regular soccer. Challenge the players to use what they practiced in training and bring those skills and concepts into the full game. Continue coaching players as they play, and feel free to freeze the game at times to show what you wish the players to see and do.

Partner Passing & Races
Partner Passing
Separate players into groups of two, with partners across the field from each other. If players are too close, you can set out an extra two lines of cones that players must strike behind. Teach the following techniques and then have the groups race to get a specified number of passes.
- Indside of the foot (cup of the foot)
- Outside of the foot (three outside toes)
- Knuckle of the foot (hardest part of the feet)
Emphasize receiving and controlling the ball before passing rather than doing one-touch passes. You could add a restriction to the races that requires two touches for the pass to count for a point. For advanced players, challenge them to take their first touch to the left or right away from an imaginary defender.Keep players properly spaced by laying cones in a line on both sides and requiring players to only receive and pass behind their side's cone line.
