Organization:
1. 40 x 40 yard area
2. Create 3 teams
Instruction:
Split the group into three teams and one of the teams starts by defending while the other two teams are trying to keep possession by working together only using one ball in a large area. The team that gives away the ball becomes the defending team and the other two teams are keeping possession working together. 5 passes = point for two teams keeping possession
Progression:
The defending team will defend for a set time. During this time add two goals on each end of the field for the defending team to score into immediately after winning possession. The two teams keeping possession still earn points by connecting 5 passes.
*If you don't have goals, you can have the defending team dribble the ball outside the playing area for a point*
Coaching Points:
1. Movement to create passing angles
2. Using 1st touch to move away from pressure
3. Accuracy and weight of pass
4. Open body position to the field

Set-Up:
Field side varies on age group and ability, with 5 yard central zone.
Balls located centrally off to the side with the Coach.
3 even teams
Instructions:
The Red and Black tea will attempt to keep possession of the ball while the yellow team defends. The coach plays a ball to one of the attacking team who attempt to connect 5 passes before they pass if to the other team in the other grid for a point. If the attacking team lose the ball, they coach plays a new ball to the other team. The defending team defends with 1 player against 4 while the 3 remaining defenders are off to the side. Play 3 minutes then rotate defending team. When the ball is transferred, a new defender can go pressure once the ball enters that grid.
Progression:
1. The defending team send one defender as usual and another defender will act as a screen in the 5 yard middle grid and try to intercept the pass across
2. When the defending team wins the ball, they have to dribble it out of the grid or pass it into the other grid where a team is waiting. At this time the team that lost the ball become the defenders.
Coaching Points:
1. Movement to create passing angles
2. Accuracy and weight of pass
3. Using 1st touch to move away from pressure
4. Passing technique (part of foot and part of ball)
5. Head up to see when players are moving into/out of space.

Organization:
1. Create four – 10 x10 yard squares depending on player numbers
2. 2 teams
3.1 ball per team
4. Spare balls nearby
Instruction:
Create two teams and have them start across from each other as shown in diagram. Each team will send a defender into the other grid to attempt to win the ball or kick it out of bounce. The attacking team is trying to connect 5 passes and move to the next empty grid in a clockwise direction. The defender will remain defending until one of the attacking teams catch the other. *Reduce the passes from 5 to three if 5 is too difficult*
Attacking team - try connect 5 passes and move to the next grid trying to catch the other group. If the defender gets the ball, you have to restart your pass count.
Defender - win the ball back and kick it out of bounce to slow the team from progressing forward.
Progression:
- Send two defender if it's too easy
Coaching Points:
1. Movement to create passing angles
2. Accuracy and weight of pass
3. Using 1st touch to move away from pressure
4. Passing technique (part of foot and part of ball)
