Xavi and Iniesta
5 players per zone
Players X and I play a one-two for overlapping player to recieve a pass.
Player 1 starts the game by passing to X (Xavi)
Xavi passes to I (Iniesta)
Iniesta passes to space beside Xavi so that player 1 can pass to player 4.
Player 4 restarts with the same movements and finishes by passing to player 5.
Coaching Points
Players run around the player they passed to. (follow your pass)
Encourage passing to the byline
Continuos for approx. 2 minutes then change the middle men (X and I).

Xavi and Iniesta with shooting
Player 1 passes to Iniesta (I)
Iniesta passes back to player 1 once he overlaps Xavi (X)
Player 1 controls and dribbles a few yards before shooting
Coaching Points
*Timing of run from player 1 (stay onside)
*Pass inside - run outside (don't follow your pass)
*Xavi and Iniesta switch position every few passes
*Accurate passing - power / location
*Close control on recieving ball
*types of shot - power / finesse
*position of shot - near post / central / far post

Xavi and Iniesta exchange a pass in the centre
Player 1 passes to Xavi
Xavi passes to Iniesta
Iniesta passes to player 1
Player 1 dribbles a few yards and then shoots
Coaching points as above - pass outside / run outside (follow your pass)
Switch the sides of play, left foot passing/shooting as set up above. Right foot if started in Right Back position.

Time movement off the ball
Pass to the inside player and make the run on the outside around X (don't follow your pass)
Players X and I should switch position with each other after every 1 or 2 passes.
