Training for U8 players focusing on ball mastery and agility/coordination. Three stations 10 minutes each. Do 2 stations, give a water break, 1 stations water break, then scrimmage. If a player wants water, let them get it. Don't stop for water too often unless there is excessive heat. Stop the last station with 20 minutes left regardless of the time into 3rd station. Always end each session with a cheer. Do this training for both of your practice days in the same week. i.e do this same training Monday and Wednesday.

ORGANIZATION (Physical Environment /Equipment / Players)
Cones to mark 5v5 grids. 1 ball and 1 grid per two player
COACHING POINTS / KEY CONCEPTS
Players try to keep the ball from their opponent using cuts, faints, rolls. If the ball goes out of bounds, a player needs to get it back in quickly. Do not allow unecessary physical contact. Each game is 30 seconds. Whom ever has the ball when time is up, wins. Move one player from each grid to another grid then play again.
