Description

Description: Wall passing (can be done on the providence grass field). 4 possible drills at least.

1. Stand on your plant foot and pass back and forth with the wall. Emphasis on clean ball striking. The ball shouldnt be leaving the ground when it leaves your foot. Your kicking foot shouldnt touch the ground so its also about balance. Beginner players may need to have their kicking foot be able to touch the ground. 20 second on, 15 seconds off x3 each side. (not shown in video)

2. Pass on one side of the cone and take a touch to the other. Can do the same thing but working on outside of foot touch.

3. Play a pass against rebounder and open up and dribble around opposite blue cone.

4. Play a pass against rebounder and open up and dribble to cone behind you.

# of players: 2

Coaching points: Balance. Body shape when receiving. Quality of passes (emphasis on ball striking). Good first touch. Accelerate when dribbling.

Progressions: Listed above, but you could add in some others that involve passing between players. The players could be across from each other or behind each other.
