Set up & organization
Set up two 20x20 grids with a marked half way line. At the end of one grid set up two small target goals.
3 teams of 3 play in the first 20x20. In the second 20x20 there are 2 teams of 2.
Instructions
One of team with 3 plays as target players on three sides of the square and play with the team in possession making it a 6v3.The other two teams play in the 20x20. Teams must pass the ball 5 times before they can advance the ball into the top grid. The player that plays the pass forward can join the top grid and create a 3v2.

Limit touches to three max.

All three attacking players can combine with the target to make a 5v2
Coaching points
Passing and receiving techniques. Can we open up as quickly?
Can we recognise when to play it backwards (depth) or sideways (width) to retain possession?
Movement off the ball at all times, checking shoulders, verbal and visual cues.
Encourage the T players to give instructions to the receiver. “Man on†ball should go back where it came from. “Turn†receiver should turn and look to advance.
When ball is advanced can the passer advance at pace to unbalance defenders?

Organization

Instructions
Players can pass to any other player in the diamond. Once a pass is made the player must run in the direction aginst his pas, eg: the player plays a pass straight, they must run diagonal and if they play diagonal they must run straight. Players should always be looking to move into an empty corner
Coaching Points
Look for good passing technique. Can the player junge the weight of the pass?
Always looking what is next. Can the player think quickly and make the right passing choice?

6v6 warm up (20 mins)
Set up & organization
Use a grid around 30x30 yards. This is for 6v6 but can be played with any number.
Instructions
All players start with a ball performing a number of skills. Then remove half of the balls. Players now must dribble through one gate and then look to pass the ball to another player. The next progression is to play a 6v6 with one ball. Teams must try and pass through a gate to score.
