Using game like conditions to promote fitness

4v4 to Targets, in a rectangular playing area 30 x 20 we have two teams of four with Targets positioned on the endline. Play starts with one team working the ball across to one of their Targets. In this instance C has played the ball to D after a number of passes, D carries the ball in while C takes up D's spot, yellow then works ball the opposite direction.
- Can we play the ball forward?
- How quickly can we transition from one end to the other?
- How quickly can we regain our defensive shape to prevent the team in possession of getting the ball to their Target?
This is a very demanding game use the rest periods to make coaching points

6v6 in a 40 x 40 playing area, one team begins playing possession 10 passes = 1 pt, the other team attempts to win the ball and attack any of the four goals by either passing or dribbling thru, after each score teams switch roles.
- Switch mindset after winning ball
- Use entire playing area
- Switch point of attack
END GAME- Play regular game for 20 min emphasizing coaching points with players in assigned poitions.

4v4+4 in appropriate size grid, adjust grid size to ability of players, minimize touches for more advanced players. Players on the outside move up and down their respective line and support the team in possession, 10 passes = 1 point.
- Take up good supporting positions as the ball travels, supporting angles
- Look for splits, can we play the ball forward?
