Playing out from the back
- Playing out of the back with the aim of coring within either of the goals (Targets) (Acting as 10 Positions)
- Either central CB or Left/Right CB receive ball
- RWB/LWB push onto receive pass or to drag player our wide (creating space centrally)
- Play into either CAM who will attempt to finish the ball
- If play is not on, then do not force and recycle back to the GK and out to the other side of the pitch.
Intervention
- Use tactic board to help explain
- Walk-through intervention if needed

Attacking Phase of the session
Base start for all patterns
- Coach plays ball into RCB X 2, then LCB X 2
- LCB to LWB (1)
- LM to LCB (2)
- LCB to CDM (while other CDM vacates) (3)
- CDM to RCB (4)
- RCB to RWB (5)
Organisation
- 3 X CB (In play Attacking)
- 2 X CB (In play Defending)
- RWB and LWB for delivery of ball (Attacking)
- 2 X CAM: 1 makes run for delivery, other stays on the edge of 18 for pass from coach for first time finish.
Passing Tempo Very important! Movement of the opposition is key and communication between the team is fundamental throughout.
