10 Players
1 Goalkeeper
Equipment- 6 cones- 1 ball, 10 bibs, 5 same colour
Technical:
In this drill the defending team (blue team) will pass the ball into the attacking team (red team). once the attacker recives the ball, the other defender on the other side of the goal will sprint out to the attacker and will jockey him as when the attacker recives the ball they will sprint towards the goal. The defender is not allowed to tackle in this drill they just have to get out to the attacker as quick as possible and jockey them away from the goal. On the next go the attacker will join the back of the queue ready for there next go and the defender who passed will swap sides and get ready to defend. The defender who just defened will join the back of the passing queue. After 10 mins the players who are attacking will swap with the players who are defending to ensure they both get ther chance to defend.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Add 2 attackers to make it harder for the defender
Regress:
The attacker has to slowly dribble at the defender instead of sprinting

10 Players
1 Goalkeeper
Equipment- 10 cones, 6 same colour and 4 same colour. 10 bibs( 2 teams of 5) 1 ball
Skill:
Similar to the technical drill but this time the defenders aim is to stop the attacker getting a shot off so they are allowed to tackle now. If the defender wins the ball back they now turn into the attacker and has to try and dribble the ball through one of the orange gates, the attacker who lost the ball will be the defender.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Make it a 2v1 or a 2v2 situation.
Regress:
Add another defender
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:

10 Players
1 Goalkeeper
Equipment- 1 ball, 10 bibs(2 teams of 5),2 mini goals
Small Sided Game:
The small sided game will be a 5 V 5 game with the red team attacking, there aim is to try and score against the keeper. The blue team are the defending team they are really focusing on defending but if they win the ball back it will turn the game around and the red team will now be the defenders and the blue team will be the attackers and there goal is to score in either of the mini goals.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Add more attackers to make it harder for the defenders
Regress:
Add more defenders and less attackers or push defenders further back so there is less space for the attackers to get in behind
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
every player has to touch the ball before you are allowed to score

12 Players
Equipment- 2 balls, 2 Bibs
Warm up:
Split players up into 2 even teams on arrival and put them into rondos. 6 players try to keep the ball and the 1 defender will have to try to intercept the pass. When the defender intercepts the ball he will swap with the player who lost it and that player will go in the middle.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Make the circle smaller
Add another defender in the middle
Regress:
Make the circle bigger
Play one biug romdo with all players involved
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Put a pass count on it so if the players passing reaches a certain amount of passes the person in the middle will either have to do a forfiet or stay in the middle again when the players passing lose the ball.
