Method: The first test will be 10 and 30 meter sprints. Players will start behind the testing gates. Once they cross that first line, they trigger the speed gate to start recording. Players will do three max sprints
Then the players will move onto a change of direction and agility test where they start between speed gates in the middle. A coach will call a colour which will make the player run left or right to the corresponding cone then they will change direction as fast as possible and go to the other side then change again and end up running past the middle speed gates. Players will do each colour/side twice.

Method: Players will do 20 x 60m runs. The aim is to do this in under 5 minutes. From there we can gauge the players fitness capacity at that moment in time
