Diving Form and Use of the 3rd Hand (The Ground)
Side 1: Placing 2 balls even distances away from keeper who is sitting on the ground, coach will call out a direction either left or right. Keeper will use correct diving form to get ball ensuring that: Keeper is landing on side and shoulder, keeper is placing hands on top and back of ball while using the ground to secure the ball, and keeper raises up their top leg to bring knee up for protection.
Make it fun by calling out more than 2 directions so keepers have to sit back up and use diving form for multiple directions in a row.
Side 2: Keepers are still sitting on ground but legs facing to dive in a certain direction (either left or right)
Coach will play a ball on the ground the direction keeper is facing for a diving save making sure keeper is still using correct diving form and they are using the ground for the 3rd hand. 10 Reps each side

Diving Form Shot Machine
Starts on left side, everyone gets 2 reps and then rotate counter clockwise. Switch sides after everyone has gone
Shot 1: An angled shot towards the center of the box for a diving save.
Shots 2,3, and 4 will all be shot on the ground one right after another for diving saves as to utilize diving form and use of the 3rd hand.
Key Coaching points: Use of 3rd hand, landing on side and shoulder, not landing on arm, bringing knee up for protection, correct ball line/ angle, and shuffling.
