Topic: Dribbling
Practice Layout
1. White coned area 24mx36m.
2. Divided into two halves of 12mx36m
3. Players will be organised into 2 teams of 6 players per team. Bibs will be assigned.
4. Spare footballs located behind end teams.
5. Defending players rotate after 2'. Teams will rotate after 4' at the ends will come to the middle and players in the middle will go to the ends.
During the skill practice, ball will start with one of the end players. End players are looking to connect a pass to the other end. Players can move the ball until a passing opportunity is created to pass the ball to the other side. Defending players are limited to their shaded area, the dividing line will be used as the reference for their position. If defenders recover the ball a new ball will start with the end players in the other side.

Topic: Dribbling
Practice Layout
1. White coned area 24mx36m.
2. Divided into six grids of 12mx12m.
3. Players will be organised into 2 teams of 6 players per team and 2 players from each team will be assigned to each of the 6 grids as shown in the image. Bibs will be assigned.
4. Spare footballs located around groups.
5. Rotations after 2'. Players at the ends will come to the middle and players in the middle will go to the ends. 4 sets of 2'.
During the technical practice, end players will pass the ball to one of the players in the middle. Players in the middle are looking to receive the ball and play it to the other end.
Progression - is to move to one ball and players in the middle need to connect a pass with each other after receiving from one side to play to the opposite side.
Mechanics of technique:
1. Look at the target
2. Eye on the ball
3. Angle of approach
4. Non-kicking foot alongside ball in a comfortable position
5. Strike centre of ball with inside/outside of foot (identified area of ball)
6. Firm ankle
7. Follow through towards target
