2 players in middle of circle with 1v1's on outside of circle
2 players in the middle play off 1 touch each with a maximum off 3 touches between them. Objective is to combine to pass to a free outside Blue player who plays straight back and repeat the process.
Players on the outside have to move to creat space and be free from there opposite yellow defender to combine with middle players.
Each pair have 90 seconds to see how many points they can scoe (successful passes)
Introduce defender in middle of circle with a ball to dribble - Two players then have to pass and move around an obstacle and are encouraged to move at all times to avoid Defender
Key Points
Middle players playing with open body shape/Checking shoulders to see movements of outside playersQuality of pass (firm to feet/rolled in to space)
Outside players movements to free themselves from Defender (Fake in opposite direction)/Timing off when to move/Anticipate movements and decisions of middle players to free themselves

Set Up: Two teams of 4 or 5 depending on numbers (can be done with teams of 3 as well). Grids can vary in size depending on desired work rate, but 8x12 on each side are good.
Activity: Coach plays a ball into one grid. At that time, one player from the opposite grid can enter to try and win ball. After coach-determined amount of time, second player from "defending grid" can enter to help win ball if "attacking" team still has possession (maybe have 5 players count to five and then one can enter). Attacking team tries to make 5 passes for a point. If defending team can win ball and play back to their team, that counts as a point. If ball goes out of bounds, possession goes to team in opposite grid.
Coaching Points: Qualities of a Pass: Pace, Accuracy, On the Ground. Quick play, making quick decisions, moving the ball away from where defenders are.
