Set up: 12x12m grid, even numbers in the central cones, 2 start in the center,1 ball in play
Instruction:
2 players start in the middle. Ball gets played into the highest player who sets to the lowest who plays it out of the grid to a team mate standing in-between the central cones. Player passing outside the gris leaves and the player playing into the grid enters. The highest player from start becomes the lowest and they rotate in that order.
Objective:
increase passing accuracy and playing in tight spaces. Increase communication in-between teammates at the start of training. Encourage multi directional passing
Progressions: Decrease grid size, make 1 touch
Regressions: increase grid size and target cones

Goal Kick passing practice.
Passing practice playing out from the back. Id like to set the team up in a 424 set up for this creating an overload in the middle of the pitch while leaving space on the outside for my FBs to overlap once we break the first 2 lines. In this picture the GK plays to the left CB the right 6 advances just inside the 18 to receive and play a 1 touch around the corner . The left 6 sits behind the pressing ST receiving on the half turn. from there he should look to play to our 9 ( who has dropped next to the 10 in an attempt to draw 1 or both CBs out of position) Once he receives the ball there should be an option to play in behind the defence with them stepping out or play square to the 10 or either FB overlapping into the space created from the step up. FBs to follow the line of play. Play against a passive press to build player belief they can play through central areas.
Play this through alternating sides and adding scenarios.... If opposition adds numbers to the middle can we play direct to FB?
