Player D receives and takes a shot.

Back 4 outlet against front 3 press. If blue team win it they go to goal straight away.Once a yellow half back makes it over the 25 yard line it becomes a 2v1. If yellow team make it to half way line(or shorter if need) they turn and play a 6 v 4 (opposite side blue mid does not defend) Can make it 6v 5 if you wish.

Outletting from a 3 in the back.
Essence: To develop passing and receiving under pressure from back to mid.
Structure: 4v4 outletting focus, the ball is fed from the other side of the practice and then it becomes an active 4v4. The goal of the attackers is to successfully outlet from the back to the mid and score. if the defence score they get 2 points.
Technical pointers:
Ball passed to half back is okay but it should still go in to the midfield. If the HB overlaps thats okay but the centre back must hold their position.
For the attackers they need to force the ball out wide and keep it there - allow the sidelines think body shape in high press.
On turnover get height and don’t slow down, get a player to the T.
Shots on target that don’t need to be hit.

Pass and Move (15 mins)
Essence :
Used to hone technical passing and recieving skills while performing at full speed.
Structure:
Player A starts the drill by passing to Player B. Player B then passes across to Player C. As this pass is made, Player A will lead off to A1 to receive the ball from Player C.
Player A at Position A1 will receive the ball on the move, get feet around to give an openside, square pass to Player B arriving to Position B1. Player B will allow the ball to run across their body before carrying to top circle for a shot. Player A, after passing at position A1 will attack Position A2 looking for a deflection.
The drill continues with new Player A passing the ball to Player C first (This will flip the drill).
Pointers:
Explain and ensure that the technical skills in receiving and passing the ball are not lost due to high heart rate and tiredness.
Ensure that the players focus on timing their movements so that the drill accerlates from the first pass.
Variations :
Different technical skill (Hit, Sweep, Flick).
3D receptions.
Different distance to run or pass.
