Both teams 3-3-1 (adapt as necessary depending on numbers)
Play always starts with the blue defenders who attack and try to score in the main goal.
Reds look to defend the goal and score by carrying the ball over the red line.
If they do get the ball over the red line then all the blues have to retreat to the red line before they can start their next attack.
After a set period of time, the teams swap roles.

When the blue team are in possession in advanced areas, the two 8's should look to combine with the number 9.
Behind the ball, the 6 should be joined by one of the defenders to block the passing lane into the red 9 and to be ready to counterpress if possession is lost.
Plus one is maintained in the last line of defence. One defender goes tight to the red 9 so that they can prevent him from turning if he does receive the ball. The other defender should provide cover behind.
If the ball is lost around the box, the 9 and two 8's should immediately look to press together to win it back.

Possession practice
One team aims to maintain possession and other one presses to try and win it back.
If they win the ball back they have to play two passes within the same square and then play into another square. If they achieve this they just try to retain possession
The team that lose possession have to try and stop the ball from leaving the square that they are in.
Scoring:
6 passes = a point
Lose a point if you lose the ball and let the other team out of the square.
Coaching points:
Immediate pressure around the ball (2/3 players) - high intensity - 'smoother the ball'.
Players behind cut off passing lanes to prevent them from getting out.
