6vs3 transition
ORGANISATION:
- 3 blue vs 6 red
HOW TO PLAY:
- Red must connect with inside player in centre zone before playing forward into next grid (either to far side winger, inside player, or outside player). Wide players follow into other grid/
- 1 point = opposite side and back
COACHING POINTS:
CHANGE IT / PROGRESSIONS:
- opposite zone player can drop into central zone to receive and play back, any player can then play forward.
- touch limitations:
- inside players 2 touch
- outside players 1 touch

4v4+4

10 vs 7 zone
ORGANISATION:
- Can be 10 vs 7 (2 extra reds central zone, 2 extra blues)
HOW TO PLAY:
- Red must progress on side to the other
- Points scored:
- 4 passes consecutively involving a centre player
- Progress from one end to the other and back using centre player
- if blues win the ball it's a 3v3(4) in either end (2 reds from centre and centre outside player become defenders)
COACHING POINTS:
CHANGE IT / PROGRESSIONS:
- increase number of passes before scoring
- one red can drop into first zone to receive. Blue can choose to follow or not
- if blue follows, 1 of the 2 blues from other zone can step into middle zone.

6vs5+2
ORGANISATION:
- 8vs5
HOW TO PLAY:
- Reds progress ball end-end and back
- If blues win they look to score in goals, in zone they won the ball. 2 blues from the middle zone can join the attack. Blue can use neutral yellows as well to keep possession (creates 3vs3 + blues from middle zone)
- 2 Reds can progress forward into each zone
- In non-ball zone, must be a 1vs1
COACHING POINTS:
- IP
- Forward-back-Forward combinations
- Stretching opposition (width + depth)
- Ball speed to break lines
- Forward runs when lines broken
- OOP:
- Compact pressing
- Tight Marking
CHANGE IT / PROGRESSIONS:
- 1 blue from middle zone can join ball side end zone to create 4vs3 when OOP
- If blues win the ball, must score on opposite end (force 2 reds to track back to defend)
- Reds must play 3 passes in each zone before advancing
- Reds not restricted to zones i.e. Red from centre can move into 1st zone, will red from 1st zone moves into middle. Also rotation between centre and 3rd zone reds

5v3 transition

8v8+2 quadrant
ORGANISATION:
HOW TO PLAY:
- 2 blues pressing 2 reds+1 yellow
- blues score in goals
- reds + yellows must keep possession for minimum passes (5,7,10,12,15)
- yellows limited to 2 squares
COACHING POINTS:
CHANGE IT / PROGRESSIONS:
- Yellows can move into any square
- Game becomes halves instead of quadrants
- no zones, 8 v 8 + 2 rondo, OOP team must win ball back and score in goals, IP must hold for minimum passes
- Score count at end, losing team = fitness punishment (30 push ups etc...)

5vs3 box transition
ORGANISATION:
HOW TO PLAY:
- 5vs3. if reds win it, they pass ball into red square and transition across to create 5vs3 against blue
- Minimum passes to score point
COACHING POINTS:

- minimum time to keep the ball (8 seconds, 12 seconds) to score

7v7+3
ORGANISATION:
- 7 vs 7 + 3 neutrals
HOW TO PLAY:
- Aim to build out from the back and score in either goal
- goal=
- 1 if scored in first phase (where playing out from the back)
- 2 if scored form middle phase
- 3 if scared from final phase (encourage aggressive pressing to score)
- to start only 2 attacker in middle phase, and reds can only advance once ball is played into middle phase
- only 5 from one team allowed in final phase
- Offside lines
COACHING POINTS:
- Look to play vertical passes, attacker to spin in behind
- If blue win the ball, can score immediately, or play back and maintain possession
- 3rd man runs to break lines
- swapping positions. one attacker from middle phase coming into first phase, whilst simultaneously a first phase player makes forward run
- scanning
- breaking lines
- quick combinations and pattern play
