Session Organisation
This large sided game is played in 9vs9 format and continues the learning from the specific practice this allows the attacking team to build on their understanding of the channels they should be looking to occupy within the session. The session will build on the previous practice by adding in the additional threat of a striker for the blue team to play towards, the red centre backs have been added as they will support the pivot player and would be pushed high during matches towards half-way to create a high offside line.

Session Organisation
The aim of this session is to work on the Welsh way principle of switching play. Within this specific practice the red attacking team will aim to stretch the field and combine quickly to create opportunities for the wide midfielders to deliver from a cross of cutback. This will be dictated by the red teams movement off the ball and how they can disrupt the other team by making additional movements to expand the field and pull players out of position.
The ball will start from the Red CDM as well as throw ins if the ball goes out of play. This will encourage the red team to stretch the field and create height and width.
Conditions, Challenges & Targets
Blues Score by driving through the wide gates set as a transition into attack and making the field as wide as possible. This team will have 6 seconds to score
Reds Score in the big goal
Goals will count as 2 if a cross or cutback is included in the play.
Red players must occupy 4 or more channels for their goals to count.
