Organization:
20x20 yd grid. Zig-Zag cones along the endlines. Every player with a ball.
Instructions:
Divide players into two groups. Group #1 and #2. They must remember these numbers throughout this portion of the session.
1. Zig-zag - cutting with the inside and outside of the same foot. Alternating each foot with every cone. # of circuits and rest is up to the coach.
2. Triple cut - Use the grid. Every player starts on the endline. Coach calls out #1 and group 1 starts to "Triple Cut" - 3 sharp touches with the outside, 3 sharp touches with the inside. Working their way across the grid. Once group 1 has completed, call #2. Staggering the start will allow you to access any technical problems and the players will have more space.
Coaching Points:
Keep the ball close
Stay on your toes
Use outside and inside of foot - delicate touches - control the ball
