The objective of this session is for my team to develop an understanding on the "FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE POSITIVE TRANSITION" indirect transition on the wide areas and direct transition on central areas. How important is for the rest offense formation will be in order to apply those pressure to recover the ball on those different zones, (central zone and wide zones). How importanat will be the discipline of the forward players during the press on central areas and or wide areas.

COUNTER ATTACKING AF - 25' mins - OPPOSED TO UNOPPOSED
SKILL - 2 x 2. on wide areas - PRESSING TO COUNTER -
ORGANIZATION - 4 MANNEQUINS, 12 players, cones, bibs, balls, 2 full sizes goals.
FUNCTION - AREA OF 30 X 40 YARDS.
Set up two boxes of 10 x 10 yards, and place 4 players on each boxes(2x2), 2 mannequins on top of the 18 yards area and 1 attacker on each mannequin.
Play starting from the Gk playing the ball to the defending team (RED), that will play to find the #9 located in front of the mannequins. If the attacking team win the ball at this wide area, will play the #9 on the counter to score. The #9 MUST perform a move in front of the mannequins before shoot.
VARIATION 1 - TARGET AND CONDITIONS
ADD ACTIVE DEFENDERS AND COUNTER GOALS
As the ball been played to the #9 , the player that played the pass can support him and one defender from each box can drop to recover the ball, and if the defenders recovers the ball they can counter at any counter goals from the sides of the 18 yars box = 3 POINTS
IF THE #9 SCORES =1 POINT.

COUNTER ATTACKING - 35 mins - UNOPPOSED
SKILL / SSG - 2 x 2. on wide areas - PRESSING TO COUNTER - CREATING AN INDIRECT TREATING TO A DIRECT TREATING FROIM THE WIDE AREAS
ORGANIZATION - 4 MANNEQUINS, 12 players, cones, bibs, balls, 2 full sizes goals.
FUNCTION - AREA OF 30 X 40 YARDS.
Set up two boxes of 10 x 10 yards, and place 4 players on each boxes(2x2) add another player on top of the box representing the #9.
Create an outside chanel of 5 x 40 yards long.
Play starting from the Gk playing the ball to the defending team (RED), that will play to find the #9 located on top of the 18 yrds box. If the attacking team win the ball at this wide area, one of these two player will go outside the box, to the channel (overlapping or underlapping)acting as a winger, that will drive down to this channel and cross to the #9 on the counter to score.
VARIATION 1 - TARGET AND CONDITIONS
As the "WINGER" initiate his run into the channel, two attackers from the opposite box can join with the attacker to finish in goal.
VARIATION 2
Add two defenders.one defender from each box now can joint to defend the cross, and counter the other way if regain possession

GAME - 20 mins - ALL COMBINED

ORGANIZATION - 12 players, balls, bibs, cones, 2 full sizes goals
FUNCTION
area of 45 X 50 YARDS
set the defending team RED in a 2-2-1 formation, and the attacking team(PURPLE) in a 1-3-1 formation
Set two wide zones and a central zone subdivided into three zones 1,2,3
If the attacking team PURPLE regain possession in any wide areas =1 point , plus another point per zone where they won the possession.
Play starts from the GK from the defending team (RED) that have the objective to find the #10, if they successfully find him and score = 2 (1 point to find the #10, 1 point to score)
If the attacking team regain possession at any zone and score =3 plus the zone point where they regain possession.

TECHNICAL WARM UP (10 mins)

ORGANIZATION - 2 mannequins, 4 poles, 12 players, balls, bibs, cones
FUNCTION
IN AN AREA OF 30 X 40 YARDS, place two mannequins in the middle, within 5 yards away from each other.
Place one player at each mannequin, and the remaining players at the end splited into two lines.
Activity starts with player A passing to player B, that after eye contact will move in and out , to create space outside the mannequin to receive to play forward (this movement simulates the winger coming inside with the intention to drag the FB in, and spinning behind to receive on the wide area). Play pass and follow the pass.
VARIATION 1
PLAYER C will initiate the pass to player B, that will play to player A.
