Color dribble

COLOR DRIBBLE

 20X20 grid can be altered depending on how many players you have. Every player needs his/her own ball. 

Each side of the gird is assigned a color (cone)

 Start the players dribbling around the square. Thecoach calls out one of the colors "Blue". 

Players must dribble to that side,  All return to dribbling in the grid. Call out another color and repeat. 

Progression:

• Call out color. First player to dribble over the side are the winners
• Put the two teams in different colors and the first color to dribble over the line is the winner and earns a point for his team. Keep score. Play for time or till a certain amount of goals
• No First three players earn a point for their team

Coaching Points:

•  Emphasize change of direction and keeping your head up in traffic.
• Eyes up scanning the field
• Push the ball out of the feet and run with the ball
