Technical Warm-up
(Ball Mastery) + 1v1 move:
- (Pull-push) + inside outside cut; (sole across) + cut under; (bells + dribble cut) + scissor, (bells + dribble cut with sole) + the hop, (sole-behind cont.) + shoulder dip, (sol-v with bells) + drag-cut-under-exit.

3 v 1:
- 3 Players start from end line and have to try and dribble past one defender and score once in shooting zone.
- the 3 players then immediately attack the other end with a defender waiting at the other end.
- Goal is to score 8 out of 10 times.
Coaching points: What is the best tactic in this game? (player in the middle should start with the ball and dribble straight at defender, once defender steps to, they should be able to pass it to one of their teammates for an easy tap in). If a teammate has space in front of them, should we pass the ball to feet or a little in front for them to run onto it? Why? Is the dribbler waiting too long to pass the ball?

Rondo 8 Player Transition Game: 3 v 3 + 2
Field: 11 x 11 yards (can make it bigger if they are struggling)
Rules
- Players in possesion score a point for every 5 passes.
- If defenders win the ball they then become attackers and play with posession players
- Transition from defense to offense has to be to open up quickly, and from offensive to defense compact
- Defenders can play neutral player on side to get out of pressure.
Play for 2 minutes and switch inside neutral with outside neutral
After another 2 minutes, switch neutral players.
*Total of 8-10 minutes then switch group of 8 players.
OR can use 16 x 16 yard grid for 11 players each.

Crossing and Finishing:
1) First player in middle line dribbles out and shoots on goal.
2) Second player in middle line completes wall-pass with first player and then shoots.
3) Player on right, dribbles down line and cross ball to the two players who just shot.
4) Player on left dribbles down line and crosses ball.
Progression of crosses: Start off with all crosses on the ground ot either near post or 45 degree ball. Then crosses can be lifted to far post.
Rotation: Once balls are retrieved, the two outside players come to the middle and the two inside players go outside.
Coaching Points: All of this has to be done at a high intensity. Middle players, need to recycle their runs and be purposeful with their runs. One should be arriving near when ball gets there and one should be going far or pk spot. Can you be deceptive with your runs? Are arriving on time or too early? Are crossers accelerating at full speed?
*Competition: Need to score 10 goals in 2 minutes.

Mini Soccer Game + (10 mins)
Mini Soccer

-3 minute games
-Have to be inside shooting zone for goal to count.
-Restart by passing or dribbling in
Progression:
- One attacker needs to be inside endzone area at all times. Switch positions after goal is scored.
1) have to play ball into striker for goal to count
2) striker cannot score
3) one touch lay off from striker but can then score.
Coaching Points: Spacing? How should we start and why? Triangle formation why?
What is the purpose of having striker in endzone? What does that force field players to do?
