Today our emphasis will be defending in outnumbered scenarios

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Purpose
Attack - Opening up, making use of spaces, and breaking the lines
Defend - Work together in organizing a press
Transitions - Quick reaction in loss or gain of possession
Set-Up - 3 teams, as evenly divided as possible. With odd numbers one team will have extra players. Field size can be as large as a half or as tight as you want. The tighter you make it, the more quick the decisions.
Activity

Purpose
Attack - Using extra man to create finishing opportunities (not the main focus of this activity)
Defend - Implementing outnumbered principles of play (delay, stay compact, protect the middle)
Set-Up - Use whatever spacing you feel is appropriate to practice the different scenarios. The tighter the space, the easier for the defenders.
