45 sec work + 15 sec rest x 10 = 10 min
Setup:
Groups of 10-14; Players have a partner
25x20 grid
Activity:
One pair is "it" and attempts to tag as many players as possible. Only player with ball in hands can tag (pass ball with hands).
Coaching Points:
+ Intro Pressure (player with ball ball) and Cover
+ Using sidelines as extra defender (pressing trap)
+ Communication
+ Pressing to make play predictable

Intervals:
1 min work + 30 sec rest x 12 reps = 18 min
Setup:
10x10 grids
Groups of 6-8
Activity:
4 outside players attempt to keep possession.
2 defenders attempt to win ball and complete one pass to earn 1 point.
Defensive pairing with most points wins.
Progression:
+ Defensive team must dribble out of grid to get out. If successful, player who made mistake AND player that passed them the ball go into defense.
Coaching Points:
+ Intense pressure on the ball
+ Pressure defender must also cut out one pass (make play predictable)
+ Cover defender uses "see one, screen one"

2 min work + 1 min rest x 3 reps = 9 min (2 series with 3 min between)
Setup:
25x20 grid
2 teams of 4, plus 3 neutrals
Activity:
Team in possession tries to complete 15 passes for a goal.
Coaching Points:
+ Intense pressure on the ball while also screening a pass
+ See one, screen one cover defense
+ Pressing as a unit (make field smaller)
+ Recover centrally if beat (retreat and re-press)

40x60 grid
2 teams of 7 in 1-2-3-1
Activity:
Team in possession scores by getting ball to opposite GK FEET.
Can use own GK as extra player in possession.
Progression:
~ Score by getting ball into GK hands (1 bounce ok)
Coaching Points:
+ Intense pressure on ball while screening a pass
+ See one, screen one
+ Using offside line to squeeze play (ball goes up, we go up)
