Organization: - cones for positions - 6/7/8/9/10/11
- GK if needed
Instructions:- passing penetration play pattern - first round - ground, second round air
- 6 plays into 10 or 8
- 8/10 sets 6
- 6 plays in a checking 9
- 9 sets 10/8
- 10/8 through to either 7/11 or 9 to goal - one touch pass in behind
- rotation is 2 players to a cone, one team plays one team rests
Coaching Points/Questions:- movement off the cone - time your run
- correct runs off the ball - 7/11 straight or angled depending on what side ball is on
- play space in behind not feet
- quick speed of play
- 2 touch to finish
Regressions:- one side only - alternate between sides - either 8/9/7 or 10/9/11
Progressions: - add offsides line
- add shadow defenders for 6/8/10, add recovery defenders for 7/9/11

Organization:- 60x30 divided into thirds
- attacking team - 6/8/10/7/9/11
- 2 defenders in middle and attacking areas - more if needed
Instructions: - 3v2 in first area with 6/8/10 - play until time/space to play virtical into scoring area
- 9 can drop into middle to creat 4v2 overload
- 7/11 timing runs into scoring zone - defenders can't follow at first - play offsides
- after ball is played to 7/11 - 6/8/10/9 can push to attack goal
- if defenders win possession play out through either target player or coach
Coaching Points/Questions: - types of penetration - air, around, through
- speed of play to open up gaps - move the defenders in the middle area
- looking to penetrate in between opponents - ID defenders body shape
- movement off the ball - 9/7/11 runs
- supporting angles for next pass - second ball 9
- keep it if no option to play through is available - use overload
- forward runs THEN make the pass - not pass then forwards run
Regressions: - 6 outside area as reset
- 9 always checks in
- bigger area for 7/11 to run into
Progressions: - option to send in more defenders in middle third area
- defenders in attacking third area can drop into scoring area any time

- counter endzone for defense
- 2 zones for attackers - middle, attacking/scoring
Instructions: - defending team play to counter endzone - pass = 2, dribble = 1
- attacking team to big goal
Coaching Points: - play simple and fast in possession - create overload - 9
- recognizing new space to play into - in behind? - 7/11 timing of runs
- keep the ball when you can't play forward - reset to 6
- have an idea, anticipate next action
Progression:- take away scoring zone
Regression: - push scoring zone up to create more space in behind
- no defending 8 - add attacking 5
