1. TEACH THE TECHNIQUE (UNOPPOSED)
- Start in KNEE position and teach goalkeepers how to move towards the ball and how to punch a ball
- Explain why we do it and in which situations on the pitch we use PUNCHING TECHNIQUE
- Progress to standing position and serve the ball towards working goalkeeper to punch a ball out of the box
2. CREATE REALISTIC SCENARIO (OPPOSED)
- Put pressure on goalkeeper follow the service or other player/ coach stay on the way of the goalkeeper
- Play a game when one goalkeeper has to punch a ball and rest trying to disturb
3. PREPARE FOR THE FOLLOWING ACTION?
- Add shot after clearing the ball out of box
- Prepare goalkeeper for next action when punching the ball badly or in dangerous positions

2 GOALS CROSSING GAME
HOW TO PLAY?
- 2 goals/ 2 Goalkeepers
- At least 2 servers and one or two strikers
- Lots of footballs to keep game flowing
- Rotate roles
RULES OF THE GAME :
- RED serves to deliver a ball towards one of the goals (one per time ) and striker trying to score
- Goalkeeper trying to catch a cross/ punch or save
- As long as the ball is on the pitch play LIVE and go for a shot from long range/ another cross or rebound
- When the ball is out another RED serve the 2nd ball
- Both Goalkeepers need to be ready to deal with the ball and position themself in right position to do it
PROGRESSION & VARIATIONS
- Add more players
- Add defenders and work on DISTANCES AND COMMUNICATION
- Create as much chaos as possible

CROSSING & GENERAL HANDLING WARM UP (15 mins)
1. PRE WARM UP
- For couple minutes prepare goalkeepers to high jump/ catch / punch the ball with related non-football activities
1. WARM UP
- Goalkeeper is starting behind the 1st mannequin, step up catch a ball in the centre (W, SCOOP LOW DIVE etc. then follow with the CATCH HIGH BALL (left & right)
- Vary service, test goalkeeper concentration
- As a progression try to put little pressure on ( use pads/big footballs or just serving player moving towards working goalkeeper )
- Rotate Goalkeepers
PROGRESSIONS & VARIATIONS
- Serve the ball from different angles
- Add reaction serve ad the end or add loose ball for quick smothering a ball
