PURPOSE: Improve speed & stamina
SETUP; 4 squares of 5x5yds with a recovery cone next to each square. A group behind each square facing the direction they will go
DEVELOPMENT: The first player on group 1 activates the drill by running to next group & tagging that 1st player who will run to next group & so on. Once a player runs and tags, they line up in that group.
VARIATIONS: Use the recovery run cone, after running to next group the player must run around the recovery cone to joing the 2nd group.
-Add a ball, & a COD, FEINT moves in between squares.
TIPS: Change your speed once you turn into the recovery cone, think about how you will be faster?

PURPOSE: Improve Turnovers from attack to defense & vice-versa
SETUP; Two ends, at one we have two small goals facing the balls in center. On the other end we have a Bi -Directional Goal setup. Both ends are dicided by a cebtral channel of 4yds where soccer balls are spread out.
DEVELOPMENT: The attackers activate the drill, the 1st player comes out & tries to touch one of the two goals facing wide side, once that happens. Opposite player comes out to try and touch Any of the Bi directional goals without getting tagged by 1st player.
VARIATIONS: Add ball, so players now can get a ball from the center channel & score on goal, then quickly react to recover & try to defend against 2nd attacker coming in from opposite line.
TIPS: Think about your recovery run after you score, quick thinking & decision making

PURPOSE: Improve the turnovers from attack to defense (defense to attack)
SETUP; A 20x20 area, four small goals (two at either end). A 4yds channel in the center with soccer balls spread out.
DEVELOPMENT: Two groups facing eachother across the area, the first player comes out to center area & egts a ball to score freely in any goal. Once that happens, opposite player runs quickly torward center area to get another ball & score on goal.
VARIATIONS: Play 2v2 with one player in charge of getting the ball.
TIPS: Think about your recovery run after your attack.
- Clinical finishing once you get the ball.

PURPOSE: Introduce ball mastery moves & reaction speed
SETUP; All players will be inside the central channel & 4 squares outside.
DEVELOPMENT: Start with dynamic movements that relate to ball mastery & COD moves.
VARIATIONS: Each player with a ball, dribbling inside central channel. When commanded, all player would leave their balls and join in either red or blue square.
Group all ball mastery moves together along the channel
- Give players a color, when that color is called. Those players join at that square.
TIPS: Think about your speed of thought & your run.
COD Moves: Step on, inside cut, outside cut, U turn
