Set Up - 15 minutes
- set up cones creating zones at the edge of the pitch
- neutral players at each end
- team 1 and Team 2 players (one each) in each half of the marked end zone
- players play 3v3 in the middle
Instructions
- players play 3v3 in the middle
- when players pass to their player in the end zone, they replace them and the player in the end zone becomes part of the 3v3
- players can use the neutral players to open up space
- rotate neutral players every 5 minutes
Variations
- limit number of touches
Coaching Points
- players should play at speed and constantly moving to open up space and give options to the player with the ball
- make sure supporting players give the ball carrier good supporting angles and are getting into undefended space in order to receive the pass (passing lanes)
- passes should be made to keep possession and players should keep scanning the field in an attempt to find the most space and least amount of pressure
- when open the supporting players should let the ball carrier know by shouting 'open' or 'yes'

- Set up cones in opposite corners and a 10x10 square in the middle
- neutral player in the middle
- players play 3v3
- balance of players in their teams on the opposite cones
Instructions
- players play 3v3
- when players pass to a player in their team on the cone, they replace that player and the player on the cone joins the 3v3 play
- to score the players must play successfully through the neutral player in the square and out to one of their players (not the player who passed)
- no players are allowed to enter the square
- rotate neutral players every 5 miniuntes

- rotate netural player every 5 minutes

Playing the Cut Back (15 mins)
Set Up - 15 minutes
- Set up 4 squares with cones in each corner of a grid and put a neitral player in each grid
- set up cones for 2 goals
- one neutral player is in each square
Instructions
- Neutral player plays the ball into the team nominated by the Coach
- Team plays 4v4 in the grid
- To score, teams have to pass through the neutral player (for the cut back) to score
- Rotate neutral players every 5 minutes
