Specific practice based upon stopping the Red #10 having any service into his feet/ time to get onto the ball and hurt the defensive shape.

Specific Practice (10 mins)

Blue Team - 1-4-4-2 (Taken Out 2 wingers and 2 strikers)
Red Team - 1-4-3-3 (Taken Out Goalkeeper, 2 Full Backs)
Aim of the session is to force the opposition to play into the wide areas and not into the central attacking midfielder.
I am working with the Blue Team.
Ball is fed to the Red Number 4 who cannot come out of his area to increase the realism of the session.
The Blue Number 6's will work together to ensure that the #10 is marked at all times.
One of the Blue Number 6's will go and press the ball with the opposite Number 6 screening the pass into the Red #10.
Blue Number 5 can also jump out of the line to put pressure on the ball if the Red team beat the press and play the ball into the Red #10.
