Organization:
10x20 grid set up multiple grids depending on numbers
2x tall cones
groups of 4-6
1ball per group but have spares at the side
Instructions:
1. the players must now dribble to the tall cone take a touch out of there feet, then strike the ball to the opposite line still following up with a run as shown.
Coaching Points:
-messi dribble to tall cone
-take a touch past the cone into the space and out of your feet
Shooting-Driven
-Angle of approach – off center
-Head up to observe the position of the goalkeeper
-Head down at the point of contact
-Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball
-Ankle locked, toe down
-Contact ball – will vary depending on target area
-Contact foot – laces (instep)
-Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at
contact
-Follow through landing on striking foot
Progressions:
PG.now take out the tall cones and apply semi pressure (defenders dont tackle) ,as the player strikes the ball he now will follow up with a run as before but towards the new striking player allowing them to take a touch out of there feet and be more game realistic with the setting to strike movements

Organization:

Instructions:
1.take the tall cones and set up a goal on line B
2.the players will now set up with 1 player in the goal on line B GK, 2 players on line A, and 1 player on line c.
3.The ball starts on line A,the player must strike the ball and score past the GK (line B) ,player from line A will then become the GK for the next person inline taking their shot.
4. B player now moves to line C and becomes the ball collector
5.C collects the ball and moves to the back of the shooting line
Coaching Points:
- Observation of the Goalkeeper
- Choice of technique based upon distance, position of the GK
- Positive attitude towards shooting
Progressions:
1. allow the GK to come and pressure the striking player.
2. the striking player can follow up and rebound to finish
3 make it an individual point scoring game 2 points for a strait goal,1 point for a rebound and 1 point for a save.

Organization:

GK if possible or rotate players as GK
players in groups with spare balls
have multiple grids set up based on numbers 4 players per group
Instructions:
-attacking players start with the ball they dribble forward creating an angled run before entering the end zone
-once the attacker enters the end zone the GK goes live the attacking player only has two touches to score when he enters the zone.
-2 points for a goal in the pugs and 1 point for a goal in between the pugs
- if they player who is the GK at the time steels the ball they can transition by rolling or throwing the the ball with their hands to target the opposing gates
Coaching Points:
-Observe the GK position
-Choose correct surface based on the position of the GK
-low and in the corners (tough position for GK to guard against)
-Across goal if have gap (use inside of foot to curl)
-Ball movement to shift GK
-Deception of body to move GK
-Observing and judging the speed of the GK Can you finish early?
-Can you look to unbalance the GK and if so can you exploit by taking a big
-Shooting-Breakaways
-Judging the weight of the ball

Progressions:
once the attacker gets in the endzone they only have on touch to finish
take away endzone and the gk goes live on the attackers first touch encourage the early shot or 1v1 with keeper to finish.

Instructions
Arrival
- As the players are trickling in have them striking the ball with their at one of the 4 goals and give them freedom to express themselves while staying in the confines of the area.
-At this stage coaches should be engaging with players asking them questions and setting challenges
Activity
-have 4 teams 1 in each corner
-the players will need to dribble into the middle square take a prep touch out and shoot at the opposite corners goal
-they will then collect their ball and move to the back of the line of the goal they shot in.
Competition
-how many goals can you score in 1 minute rounds

Introduction of strike (do not over coach just let the game flow and correct the technique throughout the session.)
