Battleships
Battleships.
Set Up:
Teams of even numbers (your choice how many, depending on space available)
Give each team cones/markers to make 4 boxes/areas - they choose where to put them within the playing area identified by yourself.
Rules:
To "sink the battleship", the team must make a successful pass IN and OUT of the box of the opposing team.
E.G Orange placed the square boxes out, so blue team try to pass in and out of the square boxes, while trying to defend the circle boxes.
Once a sucessfull pass is made in and out of a box, that box is sunk and no longer available.
Keep playing until all boxes from one team are sunk - then have a discussion about what went well, and areas of improvement.
Possible questions to ask:
- Is there enough height and width?
- Is it too crowded?
- Too focused on 1 box when there's multiple to target?
- How can the press help dictate the play?
