4v2 + 2 Possession Game (Line of 3)
4 attacking players vs 2 defending players with 2 bounces on the side of the pitch (bounces can not be tackled but are limited to 2 touch).
There can only be 1 attacking player in any zone at one time. Defenders have freedom to move into zones as they like.
For the attacking players, they must move to a different zone after they complete a pass. The attackers can move zones without having to make a pass. Attackers can dribble into other zones.
CP:
- Face forward in possession - look to take the ball in motion, and keep the ball moving.
- Create space to receive - one movement for the defender, one to receive the ball
- Line of 3 - how can we create a line of 3 to create superiority and different line passes? (positioning of players, staggered heights, movement after the pass for the non receiver)
- Can we play/penetrate between defending lines?
- Emphasize fast ball movement
- Two-player principles (blocks, screens, wall passes)
- Add an extra defender (restrictions on heights of line of freedom to defend)
- Minimum or maximum touch rules
- If extra numbers, can make it 5v3 or rotate defenders every 30 seconds to keep intensity high

- 2v2 + 2 Sides
Aim:
- Improve 2-player principles, focus on blocks, screens/curtain and parallels
Explanation:
- 2v2 in central zone with a 1v1 in each side zone. The 1v1s are locked in their zones.
- Every time a player passes the ball to a teammate in the side zone, that player can only exit the zone and play if the teammate performed a block or a screen/curtain.
- Attacking/Defending players swap positions if a successful block/screen/curtain was performed
- Side players can be used to retain possession, or create parallels to penetrate
P2: Side zone players can now get out if a successful LO3 pass was generated.
CP:
- Decision of when to run a block/screen/curtain
- If the side player is under immense pressure before he receives then a block/screen can not be run
- Decision to move away from the ball to create a parallel or bring support player in
- Dominate opponent in 1v1
- Change of direction and ball manipulation to generate time and space
- Safety Space
- Create a safety space before receiving the ball
- 2 movements
- Use hands to create separation
- Change the Point of Attack
- Head up futsal - if space is closed or team mate is marked, change the point of attack
- Play and move away from the ball
- Change direction of your pass with limited touches
- Head up futsal - if space is closed or team mate is marked, change the point of attack
