Activity 1 - 2v1s (Opposed) - 2 minutes each rep
The focus here is to use the exercise previous so that the player with the ball can find their teammate and for the receiving player to move into a passing lane.(Keep score - The defender keeps the ball and tries to keep hold of it)
Rep 1 - How do you identify wbich is the goal to attack?
Rep 2 - Change defender (Use the coaching points)
Rep 3 - Change defender (Use the coaching points)
Rep 4 - Dribble = 1 point. Pass = 2 points. weak foot pass = 3 points.
Technical Coaching Points
- Plant your standing foot next to the ball
- Follow through with the inside of the foot (Straight back and through)
- What is the receiving player looking for? (Passing lane)
- How can you fake out the defender with your body?

Activity 2 - 3v3s
Player's go 3v2. Pass into the goal with normal foot is 1 point. Pass with weaker foot = 3 points.
Progressions (4 minutes each) (Change teams each rep)
Rep 1 - Which is the goal to attack? [Keep score]
Rep 2 - What can the player with the ball be looking for? [Keep score]
Rep 3 - Where can the free player stand? [Keep score]

Game - 4v4
Players will play a 4v4 scrimmage with a focus on WHERE to stand and what to look forwhen passing. If the ball leaves the field, quick pass back in play.
Game will last 20 minutes with coaching points being guided throughout with some drive-by coaching by pulling a player to the side of the soccer field and talking with them.

Warm Up - When & Where? (Organised chaos) (10 mins)
Warm Up - When & Where?
Player's will pass the ball through the cones passed the defensive player. The player on the other side must try and find a good passing lane to receive the pass. The defender can only move to try and stop the pass.
Rep 1 - Give each group 2 mins as a defender before it is competition time.
Rep 2 - 1 minute each to see who can win, the attackers or the defenders.
