Speed & Balance (10 mins)

Organisation

Speed:

- 3 lines

- Skips to white line; 3 sets

- Bounding jumps to white line; 3 sets.

- Sprints to white line, decelerate to a stop by second white line; 5 sets

Balance:

- In pairs with 1 ball per pair

- One leg chest pass; 30 seconds each leg

- One leg overhead pass; 30 seconds each leg

- One leg isolateral passes; 30 seconds each leg

Key Factors

- Patience to play forward when the opportunity presents itself

- Movement of central players to receive on the trigger of first touch and look up from receiving player

- Receive on back foot, open body to play forward

- Recycle the ball to overload areas when necessary
