Penetration / Switching to penetrate
Key Principle:
- Possession with intention to penetrate
- Penetrative runs pass, run, dribble forwards with intention to score
Key Message:
- Draw opposition in while targeting the oppositions weak side: Switch to Penetrate
- Look to cross into key crossing zones in AO3
- Make penetrative runs when the ball is moved out of pressure
Explanation:
- transfer box working on switching to penetrate
- ball is fed into one side of the box with the set up as per the animation
- the players in possession must fins minimum 3of the 4 outside players which are (CB,FB,9 & orange neutral 6) once they transfer all 6 players in the middle box transfers
- note the orange neutral player centrally is considered an outside player and is there only as link and cannot remove himself off the line

Progress to 1 ball, e.g oranges start, 1 player can rotate in and they have to combine in a 4v3 against the 3 green midfielders to finish into the mini goals, back three can defend the goals. NExt team starts with the ball and 3 midfielders can swap with the back 3 to ensure players are exposed to both sequences.
