Skills mannequin (20 mins)

Set-up:

-Player and ball activity

1 - On command players dribble to mannequin and perform a quick pullback turn and accelerate back to their cone

2 - Once and if comfortable with the application of the skill, have players doing the same activity using the cruyff turn with correct technique

3 - Perform a body feint around the mannequin; ensure players drop their shoulders and push off their near to 'fool' the defender (mannequin)

3P - Perform a designated skill around mannequin to the opposite end (scissor, ronaldo chop etc)

Coaching points:

-Technique over speed

-Equal time per foot/side of body

-Maintain body balance throughout the movement

-Exaggerate the fake, and accelerate away
