Yellow = Neutral player
Defenders are locked in their box to start
Attackers are free to move
Yellow dribbles into the area to start the practice
Pass or run the ball into the end zone (shaded area to score)
Once the ball is in the end zone, transfer it square to the neutral in the box to the side. The practice then repeats going down the other side.
If the defending team regains possession they break out into the end zone. Neutrals slide to the other side and the practice repeats going in the opposite direction with the other team.
Option 1: full back stays level with the winger - play into them and they use their first touch to get beyond them and leave a 2v1 against the full back.
Option 2: yellow continues to drive with the ball to engage the winger before passing beyond him to leave the 2v1 against the full back.
Option 3: winger drops down the line to receive and the full back goes into the pocket. Winger goes 1v1 against the full back or combines with the full back in a 2v1.

If the opposition defend the wide 3v2 well and turn it into a 3v3 then look to attack centrally.
Option 1: Opposition CB steps out to defend the pocket - play the 9 in behind into the space that has been left.
Option 2: Opposition CM comes across to defend it - play into the feet of the 9.

Set up as shown.
Ball always starts with a blue full back in one of the wide channels.
Blue back 4 have to work the ball across the back to the other wide channel. They do this against the red front two who aren't allowed in their own half. No other red is allowed into blue half. If red front two win it they can try and score.
Create a 3v2 in the opposite wide channel with the 3 options previously looked at - option 1 shown on the diagram. They play the 3v2 in that channel (no one else is allowed to move into it from either team).
They work a crossing position for the 9, other 8 and 11 to attack against the two centre backs using the following options:
Option 1: full back stays level with the winger - play into them and they use their first touch to get beyond them and leave a 2v1 against the full back.
Option 2: yellow continues to drive with the ball to engage the winger before passing beyond him to leave the 2v1 against the full back.
Option 3: winger drops down the line to receive and the full back goes into the pocket. Winger goes 1v1 against the full back or combines with the full back in a 2v1.
If red regain possession a normal 11v11 is played until the ball is dead or 1 minute elapses.
Blues then restart in opposite wide channel so alternate sides are worked.

Set up as previous but there are now no restrictions so there is the option to attack on the opposite side if the opposition have been pulled across.

First line overload
Option 1 (shown on right side): CM drops into the defensive line between centre back and full back.
Option 2 (shown centrally): CM drops between the two centre backs who go wider.
Option 3 (shown on left side): FB comes inside and winger drops down the line to receive the ball. 8 goes into the pocket.
If the movements open up the front 2 then look to split them with a pass into central midfielder or by carrying the ball into midfield.
