Set-Up:
- Field size: 25 yards x 25 yards
- "Beehive" size: 5 yards x 5 yards
- Has many soccer balls as you have for dribbling to "Beehive"
Rules:
- One minute games
- Player vs parent: must take and dribble soccer balls back to their beehive. Once all of the soccer balls are out of the main beehive and in the two smaller ones, bees can then take soccer balls from the other beehive.
- Which ever person has the most soccer balls in their beehive wins the game!
Coaching Points:
- Pinkie toe dribbling
- Eyes and head up to locate the ball and beehives
- Can we do a pull-back skill to get the soccer balls out of the beehives?
Progressions:
- Add cones between the beehives for more of a challenge on the dribbling
- Add a parent or "queen bee" (Defender) to make the player have a 1v1 before getting into the beehive.
