Ball Tag - Two players are "it" and have a ball and can pass to each in hands. Once they tag a player with the ball (they must be holding the ball when they tag the player that player becomes it.

Station #1 - 20 x 30 yard area;
Coach serves ball into players who play 2 v 2 to 3 goals, players may score on any one of the three goals, game is directional
Progression
a)Players pass ball to player behind goal
b) 3 v 3 pass to a player who is moving into goal
Station #2 - 20 x 30 yard area - Gate Passing
Players in pairs score by passing the ball through small gates. At least one more set of gates than pairs of players. Activity starts unopposed with 2-3 pairs of players working.
Progression
a)Add a defender
b)First team to 5 points wins
Station #3 - 10 x 15 3 v 3, players attempt to keep ball away from the defender, if the defender wins the ball they switch out, if passers get to 10 points, defender does a burpee
Progression
a) 20 x 20; 4 v 2, two attacking teams vs one defending team, team that gives the ball away becomes the defending team
COACHING POINTS
a) Appropriate pace for situation
b) Line hips up to target
c) Touch away from defender
d) Ankle locked to receive and take pace off ball
