ORGANIZATION & CONDITIONS:
Field is set-up into 4 zones. With a 'Safe Zone' and 'Penetratoin Zone' at either end.
Red Formation: 2-2-3. Blue Formation: GK4-3
- Defending team must stay in either respective zones, with one Blue mid/fwd allowed into safe zone. Defending players can change zones if line is broken. Offensively, players can go anywhere.
- Ball has to cross the offside line first, not the player (dribble or pass)
- Team in possession must make 3 passes in Safe Zone before attacking.
Progression: Removed 3 pass rule in 'Safe Zone' - must be one pass.
Scoring: 1 pt per goal.
Coaching Points:
Movement / Awareness / Speed of play.
Make positive / forward runs.
Counter Principle /Team Defending: Communication (Urgency) & defensive shape to prevent penetration and Doubling Down from front players if ball gets played through. Good 1v1 defending and delay the attack.
Team attacking: Drive at front foot, mobility and creative runs to unbalance opposition.

Pattern A:
Activity: Player A driibles ball and plays wall pass with player B - then shoots at mini goal.
Rotation: Player A becomes player B - Player B collects ball, joins line and repeats activity in opposite direction.
Pattern B:
Activity: Player C driibles ball and passes to player B (Player C continues run). Player B lays ball off to A, who plays through ball to C - who shoots at mini goal.
Rotation: Player A becomes player B - Player B becomes player C, Player C collects ball, joins line A line.
Coaching Points:
Positive forward run
Movement / angles.
Weight of pass
Accuracy of pass.
