SAQ / Technical
Organization: Set up grids that are 8x8 in size with one player from each team in each of the 4 grids. On the two sides of the grid set up two different SAQ drills so the remiaining players will be doing that while we have one on one games trying to stop the ball on the line.
Activity:
Players inside the grid will be trying to be the other teams defender and will earn a point when stopping the ball on the line. As soon as this is accomplished and you have stopped the ball on the line the other player will now be attacking you and trying to do the same thing. Rotate players who are inside the grid with players doing SAQ.
Note: Because the 1v1 is hard work make sure you are not leaving those players inside the grid for too long.
Coaching Points:
1. Be ballanced and fluid through all parts of SAQ.
2. When attacking the defender in the middle make use of your space.
3. Protect the ball from the defender there will be times when you need to slow down and shield the ball not allowing the defender to win it.

Technical / Tactical
Organization: grid size should be 20x20 with two small goes across from eachother. Two players in the middle with two players (one from each team) on the two sides acting as bumpers.
Activity: Players will be trying to score on the small goals but will have use of their players on the outsides. The opposing teams players on the side are not allowed to defend the bumpers when the other team is in possession. Make sure the players are rotating from being the ones who are 1v1 in the middle to the players who are acting as bumpers.
Coaching Points:
1. Understand when is the right time to pass, dribble, or shoot.
2. When connecting a pass with a bumper the players in the middle should look to create separation from their defenders.
3. Be productive with your movement. Dont try to do too much when you can take what the defender is giving you.

Tactical (Small Sided)
Organization: grid size should be 30x20 with two players from opposing teams on each end half. Be sure to split the grid into two making two grids of 15x20.
Activity: Players are 1v1 in thier grids with each team designated with a direction they are going. If the defender players the ball up to their forward he/she is allowed to now joing that grid making a 2v1 situation. Rule: two passes have to be completed before the team is allowed to score who has created the 2v1 situation. If a goal is scored the team who scored the point will get to start with the ball.
Coaching Points:
1. Try to create 2v1 opportunities.
2. When you can turn and beat the defender look to do so. Mixing things up will keep the defender honest.
3. Engage the defenders making them decide if they are going to step to the ball or track the oncoming runners.

Tactical (Game)
Organization: Now open up the field allowing the players to play a full sided game. The space will depend on the numbers you at training.
Activity: Full sided game make sure you are focusing on shape and players in 1v1 situations. If you need to manipulate the space to do so please do.
Coaching Points:
1. Will remian the same from the previous activities.

Warm Up
Warm Up
Organization: Players will be divided into two team with the drill taking place inside the 15x15 box. Place two cones across from eachother in one corner. Then place one cone opposite the two cones, this will be the team trying to run through the gate (two cones)
Activity:
One team will be defending the gate while the other team is trying to run through the gate without being tagged. Only two players will be going at once. As soon as the activity is understood you can now allow more than 2 players to go at once. Make sure both teams get the chance to attack and defend the gate
Coaching Point:
1. Quick movement and change of direction.
2. Be balanced when attacking the gate.
3. Make sure you are attacking the space at speed making it more difficult for the defender.
