Session Objective: To apply pressure and close down opponents/win ball back
Organisation:Two teams : one team (yellow) has possession in own half;two opposition players can press.Yellow try to keep possession and then play to forwardplayers.If they lose possession they then press.
Then can progress to more players going into attacking half when possession won.
Can develop to whole team in half and then break out/recovery.

Session Objective: To maintain possession:to win back possession
Organisation:
3 teams,each in sectioned area.Team in area A must make at least three passes before they are allowed to play ball out.They try to play into team in area C.
To begin with 1 player from Team B is allowed to enter box A to try to win ball.
If A fail to pass ball to C or lose possession,groups change and B goes into A and A goes into area B.
Endless variations;2 players allowed to close,3 etc
Increase number of passes required before team can play out
Define which pass must be long:"e.g.fourth pass must be hit to opposite end

Session Objective: to improve attacking play
Organisation: Two attacking moves, going opposite ways.Man in centre circle A with ball;passes to player 1,receives return and plays to player 2,then 3v3 attack.3 reds defend.Emphasise movement of wide players to receive,speed of pass and combination play.
Extension shown in B. Same start as before but when ball played out to 3,player 4 makes movement to create overlap.

Organisation:
In box A working individually.Moving ball with various parts of foot,both feet ,changing direction.Practice of specific turns;drag back,inside hook,outside hook,Cruyff.Then various combinations of turns in specified order then each player makes own five turn pattern to demonstrate to others.order.Add step overs in between turns.Then free movement with ball closing on another player then turning away
In Box B.Players move across but now work in pairs.receiving and going away and executing turns before passing back.Rotate players so they all work with each other.
