Lightning
- The coach starts with all the balls to the side of the area
- One player starts in goal with an extra life for starting
- All other players line up behind the tall cone
- The coach lays the ball off for the player at the front of the queue to shoot
- If they score, the goalkeeper is out and must go behind the goal
- The front player of the line then has to go in goal and the next player will get to shoot
- if the goalkeeper saves, the shooter goes in goal and the goalkeeper joins the back of the line
- If the player misses the goal then they are out and go behind the goal, the goalkeeper remains the same
- If they hit the post, it counts as a save
- If the player hits the bar, everyone from behind the goal is saved and joins back in the game at the back of the line
- If a player behind the goal catches a shot without the ball bouncing then they may join back in at the back of the line
- The last player to score with no one left in the queue wins
Easier - Closer to goal and/or bigger goal
Harder - Weaker foot and/or half volleys and/or volleys
Technical Points:
- Decision on whether to pass the ball back in or strike with laces
- Guide with inside foot
- Strike through the back with laces
