Organisation (Practice Layout & Transition)
A minimum of 4 players per triangle.
4 x cones (per triangle)
1 x ball (per triangle)
When setting out the triangles make sure that the cones are 10m apart to allow them to have enough room.
(if you were doing this drill with smaller players then you would shorten the distance)

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Start off at the point where you have two players standing.
Dribble the ball as previously but this time when their half way pass the ball to the next player then follow their run. once the player has received the ball they repeat this process to the next player.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Get them to complete this motion a few reps and then add in that they have to do 3 more reps:-
1) only use their right foot
2) only use their left foot
3) Use both feet alternatively.
If you have more that one of these drill and have enough players you can have a timed competition to see who can complete 3 reps the quickest
Mechanics:-
Close ball control.
Middle/front of the foot (laces) when dribbling
Keep your head up ( awareness)
Eye on the ball when making the pass.
Use the inside of their foot and open up your body when passing

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Start off at the point where you have two players standing.
This time there will be 3 passes completed in each line (as shown in diagram)
(1) Pass the ball to the player in the middle, then follow the run where you'll then receive (2) the ball back from the middle player, then you'll then (3) pass to the other player on the corner and repeat a few reps.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Get them to complete this motion a few reps and then add in that they have to do 3 more reps.
During these other reps get them to concentrate on accurate passing and accurate control of receiving the pass.
If you have more that one of these drill and have enough players you can have a timed competition to see who can complete 3 reps the quickest
Mechanics:-
Accurate passing
Keep your head up ( awareness)
Eye on the ball when making the pass.
Use the inside of their foot and open up your body when passing
Use the inside of your foot when receiving the ball.
