Organization:
20x30 grid
Every player inside the grid with a ball
Instructions:
All players have a car they're learning to drive. The coach shouts out different color lights which have a soccer related activity associated with it. Start off with three lights and gradually add in more colors.
Red Light - stop ball with foot on top of ball
Yellow Light - dribbling with close control while jogging
Green Light- big touches dribbling as fast as possible
- DONT HIT OTHER CARS!!
Pink Light- Roll with one foot side to side
Orange Light- Roll with one foot back and forth
Blue Light- toe taps on ball
Purple Light - Drop ball and pop it back up to hands with thigh
Beep your horn if another driver is getting to close to you!
Coaching Points:
Head and Eyes up so players arent hitting each other
Close control with the ball no matter what speed
-when is it safe to have your ball farther out in front? When must it be close?
Remember which command goes with which soccer action
Progressions:
Coach can act as a cop and give "tickets" (some kind of ball mastery action) to players who don't stop or crash
Make the space smaller

Organization:
20x30 area, can be bigger if needed for more kids
Each player with a ball
Set up gates throught out the grid using cones
Instructions:
-Players must dribble around the grid and through gates to score points.
-Give players 40seconds to dribble through as many gates as possible.
Coaching Points:
-Keeping the head up when dribbling
-Watch out for other players, find the open gate
-Change of direction/pace with the ball
-Keeping the ball close to the body
-Big touches when there is open space, little touches when approaching gates.
Progressions:
-Set up cones to make a race track. Have players race around the track. If two players collide they must go to the pit-stop and do a ball mastery action (toe-taps, rolling the ball side to side, box touches) before they can return to the track.

Organization:
-20x30 grid
-Goal on either side
-Split players evenly into two groups
-Assign players on both teams numbers
-Coach has pile of balls on the sideline
Instructions:
Coach rolls a ball out into the middle of the field and calls out a number. The player who's number is called from both teams comes out to play 1v1. Players can score on either goal. Once a goal is scored or the ball goes out of bounds players must return back to their sideline.
Coaching Points:
-Get head up to find the goal
Progressions:
- Call out two numbers at the same time (2v2)
-Give each team designated goal to score in

Instructions:
QUICK WARM UP ONLY. NO MORE THAN 5 MINS!!
Taggers run through the area trying to tag the players in White
If a player is tagged, they are frozen and must raise both hands
To get unfrozen, a teammate must high-five a frozen teammates hand
Coaching Points:
Head up to see taggers
Change of speed and direction to avoid taggers
Communication when frozen-call for HELP!!
