Organisation
Players move inside the 2 areas with one defender in each half of each pitch.
How to Play
The teams on the outside try to keep possession and are encouraged to play to their team mate in the middle at every opportunity.
Defenders are locked into each half of the pitch.
If the defenders win the ball they are encouraged to try to score into the mini-goal as quickly as possible. The outside team can attempt to stop the shot.
Possible Coaching Points
Attacking team
Movement to receive.
Pace and quality of the pass.
Awareness of when the middle man is free.
Body shape to receive.
Thinking ahead.
Defenders
Short, sharp changes of direction.
Try to anticipate the next pass.
Interceptions.
Dealing with the ball quickly.
Getting the shot away (pass) early.
Progression
When a pass is made into the middle man the passer must step in and replace him (rotation of positions).
Defenders can work together if they choose (Same half of the pitch)

Organisation
Area is approx 35 x 25.
Split the outfield players into 3 teams with 2 GK in mini-goals.
How to Play
The Orange & Black teams combine to keep possession away from the Claret/Blues. The Orange and Black teams score a point for every 10 passes.
If the defending team win the ball they can score in either goal, as quickly as possible.
Possible Coaching Points
Defending team to press, as a Unit.
Move as the ball moves.
Try to make play predictable.
Set traps.
When you win the ball try to score quickly.

SSGs to finish the session.
2 or 3 minute games with bounce players on the outside (on 2 touch).
Different conditions e.g. Can't pass backwards, 1 touch finish, 1 or 3 touches for the outfield players etc.
