Description
setup shown in function slide. working with reds to to pass in
forward areas.
Feelings
I felt that the session ran smoothly and the players understood the topic.
Evaluation
A good point was that the reds didnt always play forward but rather kept possession and looked for an opening to go foward. A bad point was that sometimes the fullbacks werent passing forward then losing the ball.
Analysis
I felt the reds understood the passing but could of done with a better
'trigger' as to when they pass. They knew where to pass
but were sometimes unsure when to go.
Conclusion
I could have changed the 'seconds to score' for the blues and also reduced the number of passes the red had to make to ensure they
played forward quicker.
Action plan
As discussed in conclusion, changing the passes they have to make to less than 5 would of made the game more realistic for both
teams.

Organisation
Use the corner of the pitch approx 45 by 60 yards. Right channel of pitch is coned off. Work with red team who play 2-2-1 plus GK against the blue team who have five players (2-2-1). If the blue team get the ball back, they have five touches as a team to get a shot at goal. Work mainly with player right full back.
Key Factors
Movement of full back out wide to receive the ball. The GK picking it up should act as a trigger for the full back to do this and show for the ball out wide. D1 should have a quick look to see where the opposition is before doing this.
Open up the body to receive the ball and attempt go forward on first touch. Head up and scan forward options
Movement of team mates into areas of support.
