Organization:
Players will all be given ball in a scrimmage sized grid to work on the mechanics of their moves in game like situations in order to work on their footwork.
Instructions:
Players will be lined up facing the inside of the grid. they will play a pass to the other side of the grid and then play 1v1 until the ball goes out of play or a goal is scored. They will then work on various moves to gauge their level of skill with not only their footwork, but their passing, receiving, and ability to play under pressure as well.
Coaching Points:
Players will be encouraged to face up and use tactical thinking and technical skill to score a goal.
Progressions:
Players may progress to 2v2 situations.

Progressions:
The players will then progress to a possession game where all restarts can only be dribbled in.
The next progression could be that players must stop the ball on the line, not just dribble past it.
